Short-wave and world radio has always fascinated me. For some reason, the notion of using an antenna and a short-wave radio to listen to broadcasts that I could probably locate more easily and hear more clearly on the web appeals to me. I think I inherited some of my Dad's nostalgia. In any case, as I slowly learn more about the art, I will add links to helpful resources that I stumble upon.
If you're interested in two-way radio, visit my page on "Amateur Radio". "Listening to World Band Radio" provides helpful resources to beginners like me, and some of the major broadcasters are listed under "Radio Broadcasters".
If you happen to live in North America and would like a list of international broadcasts in English, I have generated such a table for my own use. I haven't updated it to reflect the summer broadcast schedules, because most changes are merely a matter of adjusting the broadcast time by an hour (and I've been busy with other tasks).
